COVID AND CLEANLINESS

At Camp Acapella, we try our very best to keep everyone healthy for the duration of our time together.
The following protocols can help us do that...
 
In the Dorms…
- All campers will keep personal items within their own suitcases (meaning you’re not going to leave them out) … ie. Makeup, toothbrushes, deodorant, dirty cloths, etc. 
- Disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer will be provided in every dorm room and bathroom
- Bathrooms will be wiped down daily
- Personal items, such as toothpaste and soap, are not to be shared among campers
 
At Mealtimes…
- Hand sanitizer and/or hand washing will be required before every meal
- Campers may not share drinks (water bottles) or food
- All meals will be served by staff, not self-serve

In the event of fever, COVID symptoms, or any other contagious symptoms at camp…
- If you are feeling unwell at camp, see the camp nurse immediately
- Camper or staff member will be immediately isolated if needed
- We have our own camp nurse on staff to assist us and parents will be contacted
​
The easiest way to protect all our campers is to not bring a contagious illness to camp. If no one brings a contagious illness to camp, then no one can spread it.
